Hamburg is an ancient German city situated on the banks of the Elbe River, and next its reputation is established on the basis of the fact that it is one of the ten most important cities of the world with perspective of being port city. At the center of city, it is known for the streets as Spitaler Straße and Mönckebergstraße that primarily are shopping district in the city as has many a good number of sightseeing attractions as well in the city. There are also many a good number of important sights that a person can found and look around the city hall and St. Nikolai. The harbor area too has many a good number of reserved and decent sightseeing attractions for touring visitors. This area is vastly a great tourist centric area and has good numbers of budget Hamburg Hotels, bars, restaurants, cafes and clubs.
With respect to the sightseeing in the city you should travel at the very important humburg structures, the bishop tower, constructed in the 11th century and the Hammaburg fortress as constructed in the 9th century. Hamburg's city hall is a noted structure and is surrounded by other interesting buildings Rathaushof and Rathausmarkt. Around St. Nikolai, one can see the Hamburg's oldest left out bridge. The Zollenbrücke from the 17th century and the remains of the church should not be missed out by a person on a tour. Especially the Vierländerinbrunnen fountain is another attractive site in Hamburg.
Hamburg is also recognized for its world class museums, some of the most noted ones are Deichtorhallen, Museum für Kunst und Gewerbe, and Kunsthalle. More into the collection of Hamburg there are situated many a good numbers of world class theaters as spread all along the city. Some famous theaters in the city are Deutsches Schauspielhaus, the Ernst-Deutsch Theater, and the Laeiszhalle. There are beaches in the area in between Övelgönne and Blankenese, and these are very good spot for anyone to swim or having a picnic in the summer. More, Hamburg has many a good number of fantastic parks as well these parks are Planten un Bloomen, Ohlsdorfer Friedhof, Hagenbecks Tierpark and Alter Botanischer Garten.
The primary center of shopping in Hamburg there runs along the Mönckebergstraße in the city's center, and recently has become popular for its boutiques. For dinning eateries and restaurants can easily be found at any corner of Hamburg. Even Nightlife in Hamburg is not less popular than any other major metropolis in Europe; there you can find a good numbers of bars, pubs, and nightclubs, providing DJ and bands for music and dance enthusiasts.
